Tom is a leading Canadian corporate lawyer. He works with ZvK as a Lawyer on Contract, advising ZvK clients on corporate and transactional matters, including corporate organizations, shareholder matters, corporate finance and M&A matters. Tom is Founder and Principal of Thomas Henry Legal where he specializes in advising start-ups and medium-sized businesses on shareholder agreements, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions.

Tom is the author of the Annotated Guide to Shareholder Agreements for Lexis Practice Advisor, a definitive form of agreement used by other lawyers across Canada. Tom was also a task force member for the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO) project to develop forms of term sheets that guide investors and founders in structuring deals that align their interests and position start-ups for future investment and growth.

A driven entrepreneur, Tom is also Founder and Principal of Thomas Henry Made, a custom menswear venture focused on building great relationships and keeping men looking their best in made-to-measure suits and shirts.
